Saint Paul Pride Festival & Parade is a network of allies, event producers, business owners, artists, community leaders and educators. The Pride Academy is a long term internship pathway experience for 16-20 year old learners. We have three internship pathways: Marketing & Promoting, Event Production & Event Management, Entertainment Production & Performance.
The Pride Academy internship experience is designed to increase confidence, inspire direction, and create tangible connection to career pathways. Pride has commissioned a team of 25 local business owners and entrepreneurs who are excited to be resources, connections and mentors for this program. We understand that the diverse needs of our youth deserve a diverse response.

Second- Apply and Submit the application (you will hear back from our office within 7 days)
Third- We will Schedule a Virtual Interview & Informational Session with you to proceed in the process

Pathway 1
/Marketing & Promoting Internship (Graphic Design, Video Production, Promotions). This internship pathway is for learners who want to get experience understanding marketing, advertising & promoting. This is a 4 Month internship- December - May 2026. Students will get experience and professional working experience with creating advertisements, creating videos, working with Influencers and media promoters, news media and more.
Pathway 2
/Event Production & Management Pathway is a hands-on experiential internship. This is a 4 Month internship- February - June 13-14 2026. Students will get experience and professional working experience producing an event, managing live music and stage production, set up and permitting compliances. Students will be required to attend the event and preparation meetings at the site in Saint Anthony Park.
Pathway 3
/Entertainment & Artist Performance- This internship pathway is for students who are interested in being artists, performing at events and creating a production at the event. This is a 4 Month internship- December - June 13-14 2026. Students will get experience creating stage productions, expressing artistry, and concepting.
